DJCLIPZ Terms of Use

Beta service
DJCLIPZ is an experimental browser-based DJ/VJ mixer offered as a production beta. Features, access, measurement systems, and availability may change as the product develops.
Agreement
Users agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy by selecting the required acceptance checkbox and entering DJCLIPZ.
Marketing permission and optional Google Analytics remain separate choices.
When the Terms, Privacy Policy, or Mix Intelligence practices materially change, users may be required to accept the updated version before continuing.
Human and machine performance
DJCLIPZ may be controlled by a human or by a browser-capable agent through the browser-local Agent Controller. The legacy Performer v0.1 adapter remains available as a playlist-only compatibility interface.
A human must deliberately enter through the current consent flow and select Start Agent Performance once per page load. An agent cannot activate its own session, control another browser session, or retain authority after reload.
Once started, the Agent Controller may search supported YouTube media through DJCLIPZ’s server-assisted search route, inspect and validate results, manage the session queue through stable identifiers, control Deck A and Deck B, set cues and loops, and execute mixer transitions without repeated approval between commands. A human may Pause, Resume, Take Over, or Stop at any time.
The user remains responsible for:
- the session queue and set list;
- the media selected;
- the agent they use;
- the instructions given to that agent;
- monitoring or stopping the performance when appropriate;
- third-party AI, agent, or API charges.
DJCLIPZ does not provide or pay for a third-party AI model in Agent Controller v1.0 or legacy Performer v0.1.
Mix Intelligence
Detailed first-party Mix Intelligence is part of the production beta.
DJCLIPZ may record:
- validated media IDs and canonical links;
- available media titles and creators;
- playlist order and set-list activity;
- deck loading and playback activity;
- cues, loops, seeks, crossfades, and transitions;
- media pairings;
- playback and command errors;
- human, Agent Controller, legacy Performer, and system activity;
- session timing and related technical information.
The Privacy Policy explains the collection, separation, retention, and user-choice model.
Aggregate community insights
DJCLIPZ may use de-identified or sufficiently aggregated Mix Intelligence to publish DJCLIPZ-specific community and product metrics.
DJCLIPZ will not present these metrics as YouTube view counts, YouTube audience measurements, creator-performance rankings, or YouTube endorsements.
Individual histories and raw session set lists will not be published.
User-supplied media
Users may load only links, embeds, or files they have the right to use.
Users are responsible for complying with:
- copyright law;
- platform rules;
- license terms;
- privacy and publicity rights;
- other applicable restrictions.
DJCLIPZ does not grant ownership of or permission to use third-party media.
Acceptable use
Users may not:
- use DJCLIPZ unlawfully;
- infringe another person’s rights;
- load malicious or deceptive input;
- interfere with the service;
- bypass security, consent, human activation, Pause, Take Over, or Stop controls;
- attempt to access another browser session;
- use automation to overload or damage DJCLIPZ;
- attempt to extract, download, isolate, or redistribute YouTube audiovisual content through DJCLIPZ;
- use automation to load arbitrary URLs or media that has not been returned or validated through the supported DJCLIPZ media interface.
No ownership transfer
Users retain whatever rights they already hold in their own material.
Using DJCLIPZ does not transfer ownership of third-party media, embeds, platform content, DJCLIPZ software, or aggregate DJCLIPZ product data.
Service availability
DJCLIPZ may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued as the beta develops.
Embedded playback depends on third-party availability, embed permissions, browser rules, and network conditions.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains access-form information, Mix Intelligence, Google Analytics, Cloudflare processing, embedded media, browser storage, retention, and user choices.
